Ren Nikaidou is a wolf from the East. Earlier he was a leading member of Gabriel Ratchett but now he has become a Wolf himself after defecting from Tadaaki Endou's army.

Appearance

Ren has messy, brown hair and has a slender appearance. He usually wears a black t-shirt on top of a purple shirt along with black jeans.

Personality

Initially, Ren was forced to think a pawn, due to Endou's leadership. However, after being scolded by Kiku Matsuba, he realizes that what he and Endō have done is wrong and tries to stop Endou from continuing on with their plan. He has feelings for Matsuba, and although he doesn't like to admit it, his feelings for her are strong and almost border on being lustful.

Ren personally helped spread Yo Satou's title Pervert after his second encounter because what he wore at the time particularly disturbed him. While he doesn't like to be associated with him, he considers Satou to be his rival and friend, and has somewhat of a degree of respect for him, having lost to him once.

History

At some point in the past, Ren was friends with Matsuba and Endō while the former was still in school. Since she left, Ren had been working as a pawn for Endō, being part of Gabriel Ratchet.

Later, Ren befriends and partner up with Satō to defeat Orthrus, whom gives them the name 'Two Stupid Dogs'.

Abilities

Despite being treated as any other pawn for Endō, Ren is an accomplished fighter and was strong enough to fight on par with Satō, though lost in the end. Though he lost against them by himself like the rest, when teamed up with Satō and the other wolves against Orthrus, the team of the Sawagi twins, they managed to defeat them fairly during the eel special.
